I have been visiting Finland regularly for well over a decade and consider this remarkable country my second home. I have spent more time travelling throughout Finland than in any other country and, during this time, have proactively worked at all of the established bear-watching locations from north to south.

This in-depth understanding of the various locations has been invaluable in organising tours to photograph Finnish predators, as each site performs differently throughout the seasons. Every year I guide a number of Finnish predator photography tours throughout the year, starting in April when the bears have freshly emerged from hibernation, continuing through the endless midsummer days, and into the final weeks of autumn, when bears are busy feeding during their hyperphagia stage.
